Snow + Driving = Don't Let it Snow

As much as I love the snow, it's evil when it comes to driving with my Mom in. My mom freaks out when she's in the snow, which makes me freak out, so it's been a rather stressful weekend, as you can imagin, with the 14 " of snow I got.

You see, we had the assembly this weekend, as I mentioned before, I had my outfits all planed out. It started snowing Friday around 2, and didn't stop until Saturday night. The roads going to the assembly were bad. The roads coming back, were worse.

Sunday, they talked about canceling it, but they didn't. It snowed all day today, and it iced over at night. The whole way home I was praying to Jehovah that my mom would calm down, and that we would make it home.

Every time we got to a hill.. she would start freaking out saying "there's no way I can make it up that, we aren't going to make it. I know I'm going to slide back and hit the guy behind me, I just know it"... and every time.. we made it up the hill.

Now I don't know if you've ever been to the Natick assembly hall... but there are a ton of hills.. so the whole way home, my mom was stressing, which made me stress and I can't handle stress. I was about to crack.

It just so happens that I didn't get much sleep last night, so I ended up falling asleep and missing some of her panicking. I'm sure that didn't make her feel good, but I would have an anxiety attack if I continued to listen.
